Wheatland Village Chef Wins 1st Place at Cook-off!

WLV’s Culinary Director, Anna Edwards was awarded 1st place during the Chili Cook Off competition during Adventists Health’s Health Fair, held at the Walla Walla Fairgrounds. She was the standout winner, competing amongst Walla Walla Valley’s top Chefs! Over 500 attendees endorsed the tastiness of her creation! Nutritional value was judged by Chefs specializing in vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free foods.

WW Man's Garden Produces Dahlia with Unusual Coloration

Dahlias inspire poetry and blooms wax beautifully in Walla Walla as many a garden will attest. Their lovely, cheery blossoms greet us all summer and surprise their cultivators with their many guises of petal shapes, sizes and hues.
